Fathers and Teachers--Now in a Fourth Printing
From a daughter's graduation to a young man's funeral, from Louisiana, forlorn after Hurricane Katrina, to the pristine woods and lakes of New Hampshire, where he lives five months of the year, Robert Demaree takes us to the places and events of shared experience, in verse that is ironic, buttersweet, and always accessible. You will say, with Jillian Meyer-Bledsoe, author of Leaving Newfound and co-editor of Ghoti Magazine, "I know that place."
Robert Demaree is the author of three other collections of poems: Mileposts (see above), a chapbook titled New Hampshire Pond and an online collection, Things He Thought He Already Knew; he has published over 550 poems in 235 periodicals. A retired school administrator with ties to North Carolina, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, he has also written a history of Greensboro (N.C.) Day School.
Fathers and Teachers is available through the author. For further information, contact the publisher’s website, http://www.beechriverbooks.com or the author: Robert Demaree, 2080 Sullivan Park Circle, Burlington, NC 27215. E-mail: email@example.com.
